And they are off!

Scott's ship finally left this week. It's mixed emotions for me as I know Scott loves being at sea. But missing out on Lily growing and changing and the transformation of our new addition. He was at every appointment except one for my whole pregnancy and this time he has and will probably only make one, hopefully two, the big show! 😄 That's the big difference between being stationed on sea duty vs shore... 😑 But we have email which Scott sends every few days or so. I even made him a Facebook account but I still don't think he has logged on to it... I made him one because I post so many things about lily on there I figured it would be a way for him to watch her grow. But I think he is still ifie about it. Lol till next time!
The guys manning the rails... Don't look for Scott he didn't do it this time...

The ship at the pier...

Leaving the bay...

The pier looks so empty now! 😞

First swim of the summer!!!!

My friend Gina and I took our girls, Briella, and Lily to the base pool for the first time! They had so much fun! Just look at the photos!

New diaper bag!!!!

So from our first visit with lily to Texas. My sister in law had this awesome Columbia bag diaper bag. We had a diaper bag, and a Oakley book bag that we would use as well. I just couldn't break myself down to spend the $60 dollars on another bag. So a friend and I were at a store called Book-off a thrift store here in Japan. And what do we find? The Columbia diaper bag but for only 2800¥ so pretty much for $28.00! It still had the tags and everything on it! I couldn't check out any faster! And now I can use it for the second baby too! Here are some pictures!

Belly belly belly & June update

Well my belly is starting to take shape. Even more so that I broke down and bought some work maternity pants. My belly doesn't look too bad at work, it's after I eat dinner, I feel like I'm full term and I'm not even half way through my pregnancy yet! When I talked to my Ob last about why I'm already feeling so prego, she said that after a first pregnancy that your uterus, which is kind of like a muscle, it's already used to being stretched out to make room so it just starts to take shape. So you would think the round ligament pain would be less right? Yea no, but taking it easy and not moving too fast helps a lot I've found.  She did an ultrasound just to make sure everything is in the norm which it was. And she even tried the determine the sex. We for sure thought it was a boy! Then the baby moved and it looked like a girl! So who knows! In about a month we should know for sure!

My sweet Lily Anne turned 20 months old today. I don't know where the time has gone and in four short months she will be two! She has such a vibrant personality and is so smart it's amazing to watch. And I'm beyond words on how we created such an awesome individual!

And I wish Scott's work would make up its mind on what it wants todo. I can't say much more but only time will tell I should say.

Roxy is just doing her doggie thing! She loves lily, and lets her torment her to no ends without any rebuttal. I do need to get her out of the house more. We have been so busy we haven't had much time. But I will make some for my fur baby.

Well here is my bump!

So I'm officially in my second trimester and I'm starting to feel sooooooo much better! Still feeling a bit tired and hitting the hay early but it's to be expected! I'm growing another person!

I'm so excited to find out the gender to this baby I can hardly stand it! I make the appt for July tomorrow! Although Scott won't be here for the ultrasound, I'm gonna send him an email of what the gender is, and wait for a response. Once I know he knows I'm going to make shutterfly announcements and mail them out to family. I figured I put so many details of my life on Facebook, it'd be a nice change of pace to keep this private with my family.

I'm also thinking of doing a gender reveal baby shower. As my friend Aubree is planning on throwing me one, in return for throwing hers back in April. I got rid of all my baby items for the most part after lily turned one before we left the states last year. So I'm ok with gender neutral items, gift cards and lots and lots of diapers! I'm hoping lily will be transitioning out of them by the time December 4th rolls around!

Well that's new in my world, other than Scott leaving soon for his mini deployment for a good part of the summer. But it's to be expected, so although I'm sad, it's apart of our life and we always have email and phone calls! Till next time!
